New authentic 18th century dining experience

Royal Westmoreland

This November sees the launch of an authentic 18th century dining experience at George Washington House near Bridgetown.

The first President of the United States, just nineteen years old at the time, spent two months at this house making Barbados the only foreign nation Washington ever visited.

The interactive dining and theatrical experience will take guests on a journey through time as George Washington relays his life’s story around an antique dining table, in an authentic 1751 setting.

Guests will enjoy a traditional five course 18th century dinner and in keeping with the authentic theme all staff are dressed in traditional period attire and no electrical lighting is used.

The event will run every Monday from 18th November 2013 until 31st March 2014, from 7-10pm. Complimentary champagne, wine and a selection of local juices will be available throughout the evening and tickets are priced as US$125 per adult (approx. £80).
