Flights and Travel to Barbados

Royal Westmoreland lies in St James overlooking the west coast of the island, a quick and easy 45 minutes drive from Grantley Adams International Airport.

Daily flights are available from many cities via some of the best loved airlines including British Airways, TUI and Virgin Atlantic. Journey times are likely to be shorter than you think – direct flights include the U.K (7.5 hrs), the USA (New York 5 hrs, Texas 5.5 hrs), Canada (Toronto 5 hrs), Brazil (4.5 hrs), Germany (Frankfurt 8 hrs) and from these hubs there are easy connections to many cities.

Visitors also choose to arrive by private jet, or make use of short hop flights between the Caribbean islands. Popular airlines include Air Jamaica, LIAT and American Eagle.

Don’t forget your passport!

Every visitor to Barbados must have a valid passport and a valid return or onward bound ticket. Under 18s travelling alone will also be expected to be carrying a consent form showing their parents have given them permission to travel.

Do you need a visa?

Travellers from the UK, Canada and USA don’t need a visa to visit Barbados. Travellers from outside these countries should check with the Barbados authorities prior to their visit.
